Vancouver Junior Open is the best chance for young chess players to begin experiencing higher level, stronger commitment tournaments. In the format of five games over an entire day, the Vancouver Junior Open tournaments are excellent entry-level tournaments for players looking to increase their level of play through skilled opponents and a fun yet competitive environment. If you have participated in Friday Quads already and are looking for the next step up in tournament experience, Vancouver Junior Open is for you. With five rounds instead of three, players get to experience the rigor of regular tournament play.  Alongside the Junior Open is the Girls Open, a tournament open to all junior girl players. This is an excellent opportunity for girls to compete against one another and win prizes not available to participants of the open section. This tournament will be run separately from the open tournament, unless registration is low in which case the girls and the open sections will play together but earn separate prizes.   

温哥华青少年公开赛是年轻的象棋选手经历、见识更强、更高级别比赛的最佳机会。温哥华青少年比赛设置是一天内五场比赛，对于希望通过与富有经验的对手比赛而提高水准的选手来说，是非常不错的入门级比赛，也会让选手在竞争中感到乐趣。 如果你已经参加了周五循环赛，还希望积累更多的比赛经验，温哥华青少年公开赛正是为你而设。通过每次比赛五场而非三场，选手们能感受到正规锦标赛的严格。同时举办的还有女子公开赛，是针对女生选手的公开赛。这是让未能参加公开赛的女孩子们之间比赛并获奖的一个绝佳机会。这项比赛和青少年公开赛分别进行。当注册的女选手太少时，女选手将与青少年公开赛的选手进行比赛，但会分别给予奖励。

*Door opens at 10:00 am only. Tournament hall is located on the 4th floor, room 411 

*Street parking and underground parking ($2 per hour) 

*Note no "U-turn" is allowed on Terminal Avenue     

    Please show up at least 5 minutes before round starts. We will start the clock according to the schedule shown below.

If you cannot attend some of the rounds, maximum of 2 half point byes is allowed (except last round). Please email vivien@vanchess.ca with your request or inform TD at least ½ hour before round starts

Sibling discount $5 off for 2^nd member or higher in the family  

No onsite registration is allowed. Must pay online for advanced preparation.  不接受现场报名。为赛前作好准备，必须网上注册付费
