All Girls Open + Christmas Potluck  

全女子组公开赛+圣诞节聚餐 

 

We would like to invite all juniors and their parents to join us for our first Christmas Potluck! All participants are requested to contribute a dish. Please see below for some suggestions:

1. Drinks (Water, juice, soft drink, coffee)

2. Pizza; Gyoza; Dumplings; Tacos, Wraps, Donair

3. Fried rice; Noodles; Pasta; Sushi

4. Fried Chicken; Spring Rolls

5. Sandwiches; Sausages; Hotdogs

6. Salad; Fruits

7. Cakes; Cookies; Donuts; Potato Chips

8. Vegetarian food

*No guarantee for "nut free" food

This All-girl chess event aims to promote chess play among BC girls, and will accommodate all levels of abilities. With your support, we would like to encourage more girls to participate in chess tournaments, and to represent BC at the provincial, national and international levels.

 

这次的女子青少年国际象棋比赛旨在向卑詩省内的女孩子们推广国际象棋活动，适合所有级别的选手参加。我们希望得到你的帮助，让更多的女孩子们参加国际象棋比赛，并代表卑詩省参加省级，国家级和国际水平的赛事。 

 

Location: Vancouver Chess School     温哥华国际象棋学校

Arbutus Shopping Mall   #252-4255 Arbutus Street, Vancouver (Ample free parking) 

*Use the entrance next to A&W restaurant; take the escalator up to 2^nd floor 

 

         Please show up at least 5 minutes before round starts. We will start the clock according to the schedule shown below.

Prizes 奖品	New! Champion Trophies and Princess Crowns to the winners of best under: 0-399 / 400-599 / 600-799 / 800-999 / 1000 & higher Medals to all who scored 2 points or more

 

Time Control: Game/25minutes with 5 seconds increment 

Chess  notationis optional.  Chess sets and clocks are provided.

Individual Tie Breaker  个人决胜局: 

1. Direct Encounter (Head to Head) 

2. Cumulative score 

3. Opposition cumulative score 

 

Bye request: If you cannot attend all rounds, maximum of 2 half point byes (except last round) is allowed. Please email us with your request or inform TD at least ½ hour before round starts

Registration fees:  $30 

Sibling discount $5 off for 2^nd member or higher in the family

No onsite registration is allowed. All participants must register and pay online in advance for pairing purposes.
