NPP Fall 2018 Program

Beginning in the fall of 2018, VCS’s popular National Preparation Program will be delivered in a new and exciting format. As well as the weekly intensive training sessions, this year’s NPP will also comprise of a monthly class tournament in which all NPP students are automatically registered. This tournament will fill the gap the NPP currently has by providing participants critical tournament experience with competition format time controls. In addition to tournament experience, professional coaches will be available during each tournament to analyze players’ games, a critical component to better chess. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players.

All players are highly encouraged to join this program – our national champion coaches are highly experienced in coaching all levels of chess and know how to train in order to attain high-level tournament success.
