We are pleased to announce that Vancouver Chess School will now be running weekly tournaments in the Arbutus Shopping Centre (suite #252, 2^nd floor) starting Friday August 31^st.  The tournaments will be in Quad format to ensure fair competition; the games will be NWSRS rated.  

Due to the limitation in seating, participation will be on a first come first served basis. Pre-registration is recommended. To register please email us your participation confirmation to vanchess@hotmail.com with your (player's) name before 4:00 pm on Friday. 

Friday: 6:30 - 9:30pm (weekly, ongoing). Registration 6:00-6:30 pm.

Tournament Play (All ages). NWSRS rated.  Children and their parents are all welcomed to play.

Games in 25 minutes/5 second delay.  

All equipment provided for free.

Fees: $5/drop-in

Vancouver Chess School coaches will be going over the games and giving feedback to players during each tournament.
