Harry holds a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from UBC and a Bachelor's Degree in computer science and statistics from UBC. He is a passionate chess player starting at the age of 5. He has won several nationwide championships in China before the age of 12. He came to Canada in 2016 and attended some tournaments, achieving a CMA rating of 2022.  He started to teach in VCS next year; during these years, he has dedicated to giving students the best chess-learning experience in both group and private classes. He is also actively participating in VCS tournaments, events and training sessions.
