Dimitri Komarov, an International Grandmaster since 1994, has a remarkable chess and coaching career. He has trained World Champions like Alexander Khalifman and Ruslan Ponomariov and other notable students such as Nihal Sarin and Salem AR Saleh. Komarov has won or shared first place in over thirty international tournaments and reached a peak rating of 2615 in 1997. He's worked with various National Teams and was recognized as the Number 4 junior's coach globally by FIDE in 2015. He's a published author, notably for "Chess openings essentials," a four-volume guide to fundamental opening strategies. He holds a Diploma as a Senior Chess Trainer from FIDE and a Chess Teacher from ECU.
